Our magazine continues to showcase the scientific events in which the Institute of Research and Development for Aquatic Ecology, Fisheries, and Aquaculture, the publisher of the publication, was involved. Five events took place this year before the release of this issue of the magazine. These include – the second edition of the Water Life Support Conference on March 27, which featured 15 papers authored by 64 researchers, including 15 from abroad; the International Conference World fish migration day
– discover the wonderful world of migratory fish! with approximately 150 participants from 4 countries and 12 scientific papers presented; co-organizers with SCDVV Bujoru of the 2nd edition of the symposium on the Sustainability of agricultural technologies. past and future in the context of climate change and the Climate Change Conference 2026, where presentations were made by 54 authors from 10 countries.
Some of the papers presented at these events can be read in full in this issue, while others will be published in our next issue, scheduled for December 2026.
The fifth notable event was the celebration of ICDEAPA’s 45th anniversary. On this occasion, ICDEAPA Galați received the Academic Merit Award Gheorghe Ionescu-Șișești in the third class. The Academic Merit Award Gheorghe Ionescu-Șișești is a prestigious decoration awarded by the Academy of Agricultural and Forest Sciences “Gheorghe Ionescu-Șișești” (ASAS) from Romania to individuals and institutions for outstanding contributions to scientific research and development in the agricultural and forestry sectors.
