Abstract
The development of aquaculture as an economic sector has required and continues to require the introduction of new and innovative techniques and technologies, including the optimization of technological phases for feeding target species. Carp (Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus, 1758) represents one of the most important culture species with high economic value.
In order to optimize the technological phase of fish feeding, specifically for carp (Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus, 1758), under controlled aquaculture conditions, the main physicochemical parameters (water temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, nitrites, nitrates, ammonia, etc.) and hydrobiological parameters (phytoplankton and zooplankton) are assessed to ensure that they fall within appropriate limits based on the specific requirements of the species and its age.
During a 90-day experiment, the research highlighted the correlation between physicochemical and hydrobiological parameters and the food consumption of the carp species (Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus, 1758).
